It is a conversation between artists and the audience they serve.

EtM culminates in performances of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony on April 5-6, 2008. The project encourages local artists and arts groups to explore the implications of the broad social, artistic, and spiritual concepts raised in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with their community.

This project is an exploration of issues raised in the Ninth. It is a piece written almost 200 years ago, but like all great art, it is a piece whose ideas are as relevant today as the day it was written. Explore those ideas with us and the artists and organizations who are participating.
